  • We started to build a volcano in co-op
  • Reading through the book of Matthew 19-20

As we read through the POE lesson on Mountains, the girls and I created the different layers on our white board.  We discussed what animals might live in each layer depending on the continent.

The girls enjoyed building their mountains.

Our science experiment: How can frozen water crack rocks?  When water freezes, the water molecules spread apart.  The water increases in volume, pushes the rock, which causes the rock to split.  Our OJ jug was filled with water, frozen for a day ……… and it split !

We watched one of my all time favorite childhood videos: Rikki Tikki Tavi

In ECC co-op, the kids made yummy … Mango Lassi drinks.

In co-op, the kids learned how the Indian culture cut and paint tiles for buildings in great detail.  The kids decorated tiles (paper) with designs, glazed them with glitter glue, and placed them on cardstock paper.
