We officially started school this week with big smiles on our face.
The girls started Kindergarten and 2nd Grade this week. Yes, they have smiles on their faces in these photos, but have no fear, the smiles did not last all week. They soon ask … “Is it break time yet?” … or “Why does she get a break now and I have to work?”. I know, I know, I am the only parent who is asked questions like this…
Big sister worked on her language arts…while little sister had a puppet show
Soon we got down to business … more details on our first week of MFW Adventures to come. I plan to do weekly wrap-ups of our lessons!
Are dogs allowed in your classroom? Somehow one of our three daschunds make it down the stairs to hang out with us during class time!

Beautiful girls!
ReplyDeleteYou know, I should have included a pic of our dog, too. She joins us nearly every day and makes herself comfortable between desks. Unfortunately, she's a 60-pounder, but that doesn't stop her from wanting to be a lap dog!
ReplyDeleteThanks for introducing your sweet girls with us. I hope you have a wonderful school year!
Love all the photos! I had to laugh about your dog comment (above)~ our cat is always hanging around during school. Thankfully she is not 60 lb.
ReplyDeleteI had to call my daughter in to see your girls cicada shells. Kei also collects them! All summer long! LOL We have a 4 month old puppy that would, I'm sure, eat them if he could!
ReplyDeleteNice to "meet" you. Hope you have a marvelous 2010-2011 year!!
