Our “Little House” co-op went on a field trip this past week to a local historical farm. The farm is set up in the 1880’s time period for families to experience life over 100 years ago.
We visited the hens..
Played on the stilts and …
… shot rifles.
Climbed on fences among vines and …
… in the barn.
We viewed food storage in pioneer times.
We ground the corn and …
… and more corn!
We even got yelled at for climbing way up here!
We visited the farm animals and…
… with a toddler or two or three!
I took a piece of farm life home with me too!
Hope you enjoyed your visit as much as we did.
Drop by this weekend for more of what’s going on in our
“Little House” Happenings co-op!
Hi, Monica~
ReplyDeleteWe are going on a similar field trip on the 21st to The American Frontier Culture Museum. I can't wait! Whenever we go there I never want to come home. I was so born in the wrong era! lol
Glad to see everyone enjoyed themselves!
Blessings~
Laura
